Drop Rod

Double gate drop rods are to anchor one of the gate leaves to the ground. In extreme windy areas, it is not uncommon to put a double drive drop rod on both gates. This drop rod is not a latch, and we recommend a post mount gate latch fastened to the gate leaf that is anchored to the ground. Includes fastening brackets and lag bolts.
